"Do we reincarnate due to our unfulfilled desires or karma?"

We incarnate to experience an intense range of feelings and emotions that are unique to this vibrational level, and for adventure. Karma is thought of as the total moral sum of an individual’s acts in any one life — thus determining the person’s fate or destiny in the next.
However, all incarnations exist at once because time is an illusion, so there is constant give-and-take among incarnations occurring simultaneously in the now. There is no “past” life or future “life”, there is only the NOW. This is the same for all vibrational levels involving all entities without question.
There is no force, entity, law, or anything obligating you to reincarnate. Reincarnation is a free will choice. This choice is made from a space of unconditional love. Unconditional love is the seat of all action. You don’t have to reincarnate because of some “past” thought or action, and there aren’t any elders, angels, or gods compelling or forcing you to do so. It is strictly voluntary.
It is your desire to experience an intense range of feelings and emotions that drives you and fulfills you, as well as the desire to explore. In this exploration you gain unique insights and interact with other souls who are also on an adventure of seeking.
Comfort, familiarity, and adventure is what keeps souls coming back. It’s like playing the “Call of Duty” video game. You might tell your friends, “At 4:00pm we will log on and play.” Then while playing, your character might get hurt, injure someone else, go through obstacles, conquer objectives etc., but when it’s all over you log off, turn off the PS4 or Xbox and go about your day. The character in the game is NOT the player of the game. The character in the game is JOHN/JANE DOE, the player of the game is consciousness. Does this metaphor make sense?
In closing, it’s your free will choice whether to reincarnate or not, and if you don’t want to you don’t have to. However, that choice is made from a place of unconditional love, and not from a place of, “I hate my job”, or “My girlfriend cheated on me”, or “I’m homeless” so I’ll never reincarnate again because it’s too hard, the choice to reincarnate or not, is not based on those factors, those are human issues.
