"What will our brains be like in the Afterlife?"

The physical brain has multiple functions. It acts as a “restrictor plate” for consciousness restricting awareness to a small portion of this reality. It’s also the main organ that transmits and receives data to and from consciousness acting as a central processing unit or a hub for conscious communication.
When consciousness ceases its communication with the physical body it maintains its natural awareness but shifts and expands its field of perception to its natural state no longer focused on 3 dimensions or linear time, but expanding into an extensive array of dimensions and multiple aspects of “time” in which this reality starts to fade like a dream. Consciousness also shifts its focus to its natural way of communicating which is telepathic.
In the spirit world everything is instantaneous. But there does seem to be an element of progression in relation to time but not like here on Earth. What you focus on manifests instantly and as you continue to focus things continue to manifest and become known to you, and it keeps going until you withdraw your focus or shift it to something else. Dividing and projecting your consciousness to different aspects of reality is also possible.
Overall… yea… no brain, no problem!
